Had a conversation today that reminded me of Rule/Value #1 for me specific to teaching students. “Never blame kids for their struggles.” Doing that is the first step on the road to failure as an educator in my opinion.

It was @AndyDoell1 who referred to me as a leader in 7th grade that motivated me to enter the education field. I thought of him when I became a teacher, an assistant principal, and a principal.
