the reason why the Trump admin is freezing funds and extorting universities is because the admin is run by folks who are insecure about their own mediocrity. rather than admit they don't have the skills to attend Duke, they freeze the $$.

the decision to raise tuition, fire staff, and renege on long-standing agreements are all decisions @LifeAtPurdue made months ago. announcing them in late May/June when faculty and students are mostly gone reflects cowardice. we deserve better.

the weird thing about @LifeAtPurdue and the focus on experiential education is that it's been around for decades. or at least since I earned my masters in higher ed in 2003. why not invest in programs *already* doing that work?

today @PurduePresident told Senate that there were 1000s of bills and he wasn't sure what would be passed. no one believed he was this unaware. looks like Purdue will be political by staying silent while the state eliminates diversity. because silence *is* a statement.
