I think you need an accurate ontology to summon a benevolent AI. Has nothing to do with aligning humanity first.
For clarity - I'm extremely bullish on AI - but I don't think we've sorted ourselves - and I don't think ai alignment is super possible without human alignment - because otherwise what morality is even being aligned
