Some news: Wednesday was my last day with On SI for Magic coverage. In other words, I'm a free agent and am searching for a new full-time opportunity. I'm not yet sure what's next, but I can confidently say I'm incredibly grateful for everything this year entailed.

Congrats to the Gators! They were the best team in the best Final 4 in a long time. So fitting that they closed the title game out with defense. Prediction-Walter Clayton Jr won’t be the only player on this team that we’ll see in the NBA.

@steelemagic Yep, and they’ve already somehow played more games than any team (24 - a fairly significant amount more than some), have already had 5 back-to-backs compared to someone like Philly having had only 2. And only 38% of our games have been at home, though I know we have a long.

NBA Cup is great. absolutely love it!.But there can be a downside. Magic schedule now includes 4 games vs MKE instead of 3. with 3 of the 4 at MKE. And if ORL and ATL don’t make Vegas they’ll play 5 times. 3 of the 5 in ATL. Total home games-40.
