Our Pram Service is at 10.15 am on select Fridays in the Lady Chapel and lasts for about 10 minutes. We share a short Bible story, a song and a simple prayer. Join us for our next short services on Friday 14 November and 12 December.

What a remarkable piece of artwork
Come and view Moments of War in the Cloisters until Friday 14 November. Depictions of war and conflict from WWI until present day, presented as a continuous 54ft x 42″ canvas artwork. This exhibition is a collaboration between two local artists, Cris Coe and Hazel Bradshaw.

Please note: our Choral Matins for Remembrance Service will be at the slightly earlier time of 10.00 am on Sunday 9 November. There will be also be an observed silence in the Cathedral on Tuesday 11 November at 11.00 am.

Together on Tuesday: A short, informal communion service for anyone who might find a longer service difficult but enjoys singing and praising God. Suitable for those with dementia and their carers. Refreshments and cake ☕️🍰 after the service to which you are warmly welcome.

November’s Dogs of the Cathedral Calendar model is Black Labrador, Cassie. Cassie was our first model and did a great job of setting a high bar! Dogs are welcome at the Cathedral, as long as they are well-behaved and on a lead 🐕🦺

This Sunday, 2 November at 3.30 pm, join us for a special Requiem Eucharist for All Souls’ Day — a time to remember loved ones who have died. Mozart’s Requiem will be sung by the St Edmundsbury Singers & Cathedral Choir. All are welcome.

Come along to our Hymn Singalong on Tuesday 4 November and join together to sing favourite hymns. This is a service for those living with dementia or similar conditions, and their carers. Refreshments will be served afterwards, to which you are very welcome.

It’s been 20 years since the Millennium Tower was completed in 2005! Above the Nave Altar, you’ll find 42 shields representing 42 dioceses in the Church of England. Each shield has a coat of arms… except for one. Visit us and see if you can work out which diocese is missing.

During Advent, the music department will host three pre-Sunday Evensong organ recitals of seasonal repertoire. The recitals will start at 3.10 pm, and lead straight into Choral Evensong at 3.30 pm. Free to attend, do join us!
