Several members of the building contacted many rescuers but not one soul came. At 5 pm the monkey passed away.This is the state of ‘animal rescue’ in our country.Several times I’ve called for these rescuers for injured dogs as well but no one has ever showed up. 4/4.

Even PETA claimed they only rescue ‘community’ animals and they too didn’t come to rescue the monkey. IDA frok Deonar claimed that monkeys are rescued only by the forest department so they can’t help us.Parel hospital as usual never picked up the call. 3/4.

At 1:30 pm we got a confirmation that a rescue team from thane will arrive. It takes about 30-40 mins counting peak hour traffic from Thane to Chembur.We waited for a long time and when we called again around 4:30 they said they hadn’t sent any rescue team yet. 2/4.

There was a really badly injured monkey which went under a car in our building today.Everyone from the building called several so called ‘animal rescuers’ but no one showed up.This all began around 1 pm. 1/4.
