Working closely with the Allston Brighton delegation and the Gov and Lt. Gov, we were able to secure $99 million in the Affordable Homes Act. Thank you to the Healey-Driscoll Administration, Secretary Augustus, Mayor Wu, and the Boston Housing Authority for your partnership.

This $19.6 million grant from the Commonwealth will replace 258 existing units and add 180 new units, ensuring safe, accessible, and affordable homes for residents. A project of this size doesn’t happen on its own.

Last Friday, I attend the funding announcement for Phase 1 of the Faneuil Gardens redevelopment. Faneuil Gardens has been an important part of the Brighton community for decades.

I was honored to receive the Gender Justice Leadership Award from @MassNOW I’m always proud to stand with my colleagues to fight for women’s rights and LGBTQ+ equality as we continue to make the Commonwealth a home for everyone!

Who would ever think that we would live in a time where our Mayor would be called before a Congressional Committee to defend compassion and explain what every statistic shows – that Boston is the safest major city in the USA.
