Yes it awesome to have former players come and give back and share what they know with our up and comers!.
One of the things I appreciate about @starplairs is the environment he has created in the gym. Current and former college players are in the gym working and providing an example for high school kids. There is always someone older and more experienced for kids to play against.

Basketball camp begins tomorrow! June 5-8th & June 12-15th camp will be focusing on shooting! We only get a few opportunities to train this in depth (over 20+ hrs) in this very important area. So don’t miss out!

I wish this was common knowledge but it is not.
Recruiting for HS prospects has changed dramatically. 15u & 16u Coaches still pushing the “exposure is everything” mindset are out of touch. If you are a ‘25 or ‘26 player….focus on DEVELOPMENT. Surround yourself w/ coaches who have proven backgrounds. Your time will come!.

This is tough to explain but I feel @CoachCooleyPC said it perfectly. We need leaders to consistently win and winning won’t always have your preferred tone or language. My suggestion is ask yourself is he/she right and if so decide not to get offended or repeat mistake.

This very true!! Every student athlete and parent of student athlete should read this.
When I was 18 years old, I signed an NLI to play basketball at the University of Florida in one of the top recruiting classes in the country. Guess what? It was hard, and I struggled. Instead of sticking it out, I transferred.
