i’ve been seeing some people say “aegis takes no skill” or “it’s easy to win with aegis” when none of you actually, genuinely play them in bracket. yes you may win vs. your 0-2er friend, but you would never take a game/set off someone who is genuinely powerful at this game.

I know this post will probably seem a bit ungrateful, but I feel like the way this tournament was seeded and the time at which seeding was released didn’t allow for a lot of leeway. Additionally, some of the seeding was… whack af, ngl. I was seeded 71st, which, like… what?(2/2)

So… Roundtable today. I acknowledge that there were a lot of issues with DQ’s messing with the bracket, and I don’t really know what to say about over two-dozen DQ’s (over 10% of the entire bracket, including 3 top 8 seeds). I respect TOs and the work they’re doing, and (1/2).

hbox stream being incapable of respecting someone's pronouns is highkey miserably pathetic. like, youre running a good event and doing great things for the community, but your casters can't read the pronouns plastered on the screen? do better.
