We had a very exciting first session of our Key Stage One STEM Club this afternoon! The children were set the challenge to construct a building, using a range of materials, that would remain strong even during a jelly-quake! We had lots of fun testing out our final structures!
Our school family have come together to remember those people who lost their lives in the two World Wars in the service of their country as well as those who have died in other conflicts.

We have been reflecting upon Jesus being the light of the world this week. Reception Class have thought about ways that they can share Jesus’ light with others during Lent. We have made our own lighthouses, kindness jars and a paper chain of prayers 💜🙏🏻

Year 3 have been continuing their learning around forces. Yesterday we learnt about magnets and properties of magnetic materials, completing a hunt around the classroom to find as many magnetic items as possible! We discovered that opposite poles attract and the same repel. 🧲
In yesterday’s staff meeting, we were looking at how to promote physical activity and healthy lifestyles for our children. It was only fair that we asked the staff to try out some of the activities first!
