This vehicle has failed to stop for Response officers from Longton Police station. The driver, who decided to run away was located in a nearby garden. An adult female has been arrested for failing to stop, drink driving and possession of cannabis. #OperationLightning

An informed stop of this truck by #StokeSouthResponse suggested it to be a clone. On the surface it appeared the legitimate, but deeper checks uncovered it to be a sophisticated clone and actually stolen from the Worcester area. Vehicle purchased innocently but now recovered.

PC’S 29845 Bailey & 30273 Sheridan from S1 Stoke North Response at 0100hrs this morning have recovered a white Vauxhall van, seizing cannabis and cloned number plates in Cauldon Rd, Shelton. If anyone saw or has CCTV of the incident please ring 101, quoting incident no 044 3/7/24

Officers from #StokeSouthResponse located this Audi in Hanley yesterday, having been stolen the same morning with keys. Suspected stolen food and electrical goods were located in the boot. Driver and passenger arrested for multiple offences. #OpLightning

Cannabis grow discovered in the Cobridge area. Officers from Stoke North have recovered a number of plants. We will continue to be proactive as part of #OperationLevidrome with the aim of disrupting organised crime. We will continue to patrol the area to provide reassurance.

This car failed to stop for a @staffsdogs ARV this morning, and a short pursuit followed. The vehicle was located abandoned by officers from #StokeSouthResponse, where PD Flash and handler tracked the driver to a muddy field! One under arrest for multiple offences. #OpLightning

This van was stolen from the Weston Coyney area in the early hours of 5/1/24 with keys. The vehicle was located within 25 minutes of the initial report by officers from #StokeSouthResponse. The vehicle was seized for forensics, and somebody will be getting a knock soon. #OpHodo

This vehicle caught our attention after running a red light and almost hitting another car. Enquiries showed the vehicle had no insurance and the driver had an unrestrained child in the back. Vehicle was #seized today in Stafford, and a court date awaits. #27885 #oplightning

Thanks to quick thinking and reports by locals in Shenstone tonight we have found a male reported to be looking into vehicles. He was searched and found to be wanted by another force, he was subsequently arrested for further investigations to continue.
