Edinburgh Fringe month has arrived and already seen some absolute belters! Ben Pope’s show all about loss and penises is surprisingly moving (I feel like I have to mention the penises, because it is penis heavy). And Lorna Rose Treen’s show was a masterclass in comedy. #edfringe

I saw both Superman and Fantastic 4 over the weekend. I really enjoyed both but think it’s fair to say that Superman won the superhero battle of the summer.

It’s taken my body the best part of a week to fully recover from the 30° heat but I had the BEST time volunteering with @musicdeclares at TRNSMT last weekend. A record number of people signed up to the movement - and I managed to see some of my faves at the same time.

Fun fact - the man who operates Hacker T Dog is 49 years old, which will make him the oldest ever Blue Peter presenter. Before that, John Noakes was the oldest when he left the show aged 44.
Hacker T Dog has joined Blue Peter as the show’s 44th presenter. He’ll join the show in September.

The best thing about the Evita revival with Rachel Zegler is that I’ve rediscovered this banger of a remix of Don’t Cry For Me Argentina. A 10/10 bop.

Went to see The Last Laugh last night at the Theatre Royal. A masterclass in comedy. It’s not just a tribute show, it’s a poignant and heartwarming play about 3 friends facing their end. Loved it, catch it if you get a chance.
