We would like to thank the Minister for Public Finance, @Ivan_McKee MSP, Scottish Government officials and key cross-party MSPs for their support in addressing the difficulties and deep concerns of the industry in respect of aspects of the Visitor Levy (Scotland) Act.

The Scottish Tourism Alliance is heartened that @scotgov has listened to industry calls and has today announced an intention to lodge a Visitor Levy (Amendment) (Scotland) Bill early next year that sets out the legislative framework to introduce a flat-rate option.
