What I love about Fate/Samurai Remnant is that it can legitimately be someone’s first Fate experience and they won’t be missing any context.
It gives the basics and tells its own self-contained story, so pure newcomers won’t be confused.

Actually, the illustrator for Fate/type redline is Ryoji Hirano, who did actually do the art for the KnY Spinoff with Giyu and Rengoku.
On the other hand, Rei Wataru did the art for FGO Shimousa’s manga, as well as for Fate/Samurai Remnant.
So yes, a KnY artist did work on Fate

It’s because of 1.) obvs smaller player base and 2.) Clairvoyance. Being 2 years ahead means they know what to expect and so they can plan their SQ, skip banners that they don’t want, etc. it’s much easier to get what you want in NA than JP imo

To play devil’s advocate, most of those appends are useless. Arts/Quick mostly need 2, Buster mostly needs 5, and you can leave the other three alone, they’re marginal.
Lvl 120 looks way more impressive anyway, ppl should focus on doing that over silly appends
