s3 is so low in my ranking (possibly last tbh... i think i enjoy s1 more now). i don't like the villain & overarching plot at all but it's such a good season for buffy as a character. it's its only saving grace

watching s7 of btvs and genuinely thinking that buffy didn't love spike is so silly to me, it almost makes me laugh. i still wake up in a cold sweat remembering this is how she looked at the guy she was definitely not in love with

debating the morality of buffy ships is so pointless. every single one has the same problematic plot points with consent. at the end of the day, it's a vampire show. it's not exactly the home of sitcom coded ships unless you wanna pretend the bus drivers are compelling
