Good story. Ed has been on top of this from the start. I don't buy the notion that Jannik Sinner is an innocent who made one blameless mistake.

If you've seen "Mix Tape" advertised or trailed on iPlayer or BBC2, then it's a good watch. But if you haven't seen it yet, buy the book (by Jane Sanderson) and read that first. It's a brilliant love story.

I still have zilch idea why The Bear is classified as a comedy for awards purposes. But having finished Eps 7, 8, 9 and 10 yesterday - magnificent - I think it's certain to hoover up a load of Emmys, again. Absolutely loved it.

The Bear season 1 was the best TV I watched in 2022. Season 2 ditto in 2023. Season 3: nope. Season 4: Up to Ep 7 and it's getting back up there. Dinner last night in Copenhagen at a 3* Michelin pop-up, and the staff agree with the above. They love The Bear.

This piece from early April ( forecast the Club World Cup prize money for every team at whatever stage they reached. I reckon Man City will have pocketed about $52m for losing in the last 16. Al-Hilal will get $36m for the QF, more if they go deeper.
