One of the reasons for my depression getting out of control this past year was the creeping realization that we live in an age of content. I’ve struggled to find meaning in sharing my art because it’s immediately reduced to “content” that must appeal to an algorithm to be heard.

The brilliant instrument choice and expert articulation engulf you into the world and I can’t get over it. I completely ascend to the main motif used in “A Time of Quiet Between the Storms” I love the double harmonic scale and mixolydian mode and need to use them in my own music.

Hi, I’ve mostly stayed off social media for the past month. I experienced some incredibly hard weeks dealing with loss, medication changes, depression, etc. I had really hit a new level of low, but now I’m starting to feel like myself again.

I feel so incredibly numb I’ve just lost another family member to addiction. If you or someone you love is facing that silent battle, you can make it through. I see posts like this so unfortunately often, but please remember to tell people you love them
