Today is a sad day. I have cancelled my @DiscoveryUK @cyclingontnt subscription. Paying over £30 a month to have coverage interrupted by adverts is not what I was expecting.

This was my view when I made the descent off the tourmalet towards St Campan in July 2023. Cold and scary.

The Tourmalet is a very atmospheric ride. The drama builds from the roundabout at the bottom, its then about 30km to the summit where you have the opportunity to spend time with the statue of Octave Lapiz. The snow tunnels, the short sharp gradient increases - amazing.
