but that's fine. he just wanted to show appreciation for atsumu's effort into teaching his best for the class. now, the class puts back in the same effort. maybe, atsumu will crack sooner than they think. -.-.// tbc <3333 final part next!.

still his same old serious self, just a bit surprised. still no smile— what gets this man to smile in class? yeah, professionalism and all but c'mon. oh, whoops, sakusa's internal dialogue seems to be slipping. he continues to work away. atsumu's going to confront him later,.

"we learned it properly." one of the boys cuts in, "apparently, it ain't all willy nally.". atsumu hums, not knowing whether to take the back handed compliment, "sure. " he nods slowly. his facade doesn't fall, but it cracks. he doesn't let his excitement show through,.

"sir, we learned fer ya!" natsu's voice quickly snaps him out of his quick and short spiral. "what?" he seems shocked. when could they have learned. suddenly, his eyes land on sakusa who seems like he's guiltily working on his laptop, avoiding eye-contact. no way.

it's the friday of the following week. nothing changed in their routine— so what—. "whaddya have there, sir miya? ya don't hafta act so shocked." one of their students called. in all of the previous years, atsumu has been faced with mockery and jokes, so is this a prank on him—.

and sakusa knows. he knows he's one of the people encouraging atsumu to speak in proper dialect, . he knows that. and yet when the following week comes by. "g'mornin', sir miya!" the students greet atsumu in unison for their greeting, and it catches him heavily off-guard.

there's a pool of vulnerability behind atsumu's amber eyes. it's looking and poking at sakusa's own soul, and what he seems to want, is atsumu's troubles to go away. at the /least/, just for a bit. so they exchange goodnights and wave each other goodbye in the night.

"oh." atsumu got the clarification, nodding, "i just don't want to be misunderstood.". "and for your students to take you seriously?". "for the students to learn from me." atsumu corrects, "how could i expect them to grasp a lesson when they're engrossed in my kansai instead?".

kiyoomi can't help but notice the true shag of relief on atsumu's shoulders when he wasn't entitled to "being proper for the place.". kansai-ben, huh?. "it really bothers you, doesn't it?". "huh?" atsumu looks up from the ground he's been staring at. "the way you speak.".

"you struggled a bit at the end of the night." sakusa can't help but also point out and add. "well, still not my usual way of speakin'." atsumu just shrugs, "'m real thankful fer kita and aran showing up actually. i needed the unwinding." he admits.

when they're out of the shop and the cool night breeze hits their skin, atsumu takes a deep breathe. "thank you, kiyoomi." he tests out the name too, "for tonight and all. a bit more polishing and i'd be perfect speakin' in no time." he chuckles softly.

"yeah, um, atsumu," the names rolls off easy on his tongue, "i might have to leave soon. it's a pleasure to have been here.". "a–ah, yes—! of course. !!!" atsumu scrambles, his mind seeming to lag behind a bit. is it because of the name?. "let me see ya out then," he insists.

"nice to meet you." the guests properly greet too, and the taller one, the one named. alan��� aran? adds in, "ya should call the twins by their names, by the way.". osamu shrugs, seemingly fine with that and. atsumu? he just seems to be nervous. a bit skiddish—.

so he tries to catch atsumu's attention, clearing his throat. "ehem, miya?". when he says that, both of the twins look. until all four pair of eyes are looking at him. "who's this?" kita asks curiously. "ah, that's ma co-worker, sakusa, sir." atsumu introduces.

sakusa gets properly ignored. both of the twins' attention seemingly glued in with their old comrades. the shop soon filled with their joyous laughter and shared stories. but sakusa has to leave soon. it's 10pm and yeah, somewhere during rush hour, he was also fed.

sakusa assumes it's some friends. "yeah, wanted ta stop by 'n see whatcha'll been up to." huh, that's also kansai. must be /old/ friends. back in their hometown. when osamu greets them, it's shown with the same enthusiasm. "kita, aran, come n' sit!" he smiles too.

at that time, the doors chime once more, but this time, when atsumu sees who it is, he immediately brightens up. miya gasps, "whatcha both doin' here?" he jumps, exclaiming loudy before leaving the counter, "i missed ya'll.". him and the two guests go to hug.
