Are there any good property management companies in DC these days for an absentee landlord? I'm finding @NestDC - which worked extremely well for several years - is really falling behind in communicating with me and my tenant. TIA.

@katherinelong @dahliabazzaz @cruickshank @TheMelWestbrook Among things ‘we have been able to do with longer lunches’: tutoring, teacher office hours, clubs. Fitting these into the school day wasn’t innovative but it was helpful to and equitable for those students who don’t have end-of-day flexibility.

Completely lost in the (important!) noise being generated by the impending closure of @SeaPubSchools Elementary school — a decree from SPS administration to eliminate any flexibility in high school bell times. The students and, more importantly, the teachers, are not happy.

Surprised and not surprised that folks are losing energy in the fight for our public schools. Good analysis from Danny Westneat @seattletimes.
