I have a GC with a GL claim, auto claim and E&O claim within the last year. Literally all he needs is a comp claim and we have every line of business with claims.

Hot take: an insurance agent who goes on social to ask “where should I go with ABC risk?” really has no business trying to write the risk. If you don’t know something as basic as what market(s) to approach, what’s gonna happen when the heavy lifting comes?

@someinsurance Lost a mp D&O/BOP this year. Told me they were marketing it 3 days before renewal to “sharpen my pencil.” Feel bad for the guy who had to cut off the <$1k prem account to lose on it every year. I inherited this one and it’s just a PITA. They don’t realize the favor they did me 😂

You never know what you have until it’s gone. Last year I ran into a contractor that for a decade had a very consistent program with a regional carrier. They whined about price and the agent moved them for 5% savings!!!! 5%!!!!! They were non renewed the next year due to class

Update - he has an “extensive” background in insurance and his top concern is risk control and premium reduction. Meeting set for tomorrow. Icing on the cake. I have check for him as well 🤣

Non profit that I insure has a new treasurer…. New treasurer barking up the tree of premium savings and cost controls and wants to setup insurance meeting to discuss…. He will find out in that meeting that a few years ago we bought the non profit brand new vans so they didn’t
