Everyone trying to reimagine or rebuild journalism must remember one thing: for all the disillusionment, only a restively small segment has given up on journalism.
People still crave it, and they would love us to succeed. That’s a beautiful gift.

Lots of people feel that way! It’s amazing. Amid all the lack of trust, mistakes, harm, and people exploiting those genuine concerns for disingenuous political gain, lots of people are pulling for us. Incredible.
