Absolutely no one, buddy is never going to be cannon, because one of the actors is uncomfortable kissing dudes. Instead you can tune into 911 Lone star, where tarlos an actual gay couple, played by queer actors will be on their honey moon.
Some showrunners will write the most emotionally intimate scenes, cast two actors with chemistry so insane it sets the screen on fire, make them stare into each other's eyes, and then be like "idk we weren't trying to write this as romantic but cool for people seeing it that way"
