The way some people try to deny the queerness of the cast absolutely kills me because it's such an important part of the world of ALNST. "Ivan isn't gay, Mizi isn't lesbian, Till/Hyuna aren't bi" like c'mon now. Why follow a story with deeply rooted queer themes and deny-.

There is no way someone in the qrt is actually trying to deny bi Till now. Never mind, I take back. Yall are way too hell bent on denying the queerness of the cast. Till's bi-ness isn't something to justify "the yaoi ship" it's because he literally has been implied to be bi.

People are so upfront about Hyuna and Till being bi, but Mizi and Ivan are constantly having to go through this discussion about whether they are lesbian or gay respectively. The narrative does not need to spoon feed you everything to figure it out.

Mizi has been explicitly shown to be comfortable with Ivan, most likely to play into the very fact that he does not romantically like women + His name is based on a Korean slang for homosexuality. It does not get more obvious than that.

antagonize characters who clearly have no idea how deeply fucked up each of their actions can be. Trying to entirely demonize them for those actions throws out the context of their upbringingβwhich is a crucial part of their characters.
