I can't be more excited to share with you that the strategic collaboration with @TwistBioscience is now official!!! 🔥 . I've been leading this collaboration for more than a year, and I'm thrilled to announce that our transaminase screening kit is now commercially available 🧬.
Together with @bit_Biome, we are excited to announce the launch of a joint Transaminase Enzyme Screening Kit! This curated collection of forty-eight highly diverse transaminase enzymes are ready for in-house screening and evaluation. Read more here:

この間大学の先生たちと飲んでて、私は前日に注射しててお医者さんに沢山飲むのはやめてね〜と言われていたので「ドクターストップがかかってるので飲みません！」と言ったら、瓶ビールを持った先生(博士号持ち)が「ドクター・ゴー」と言って笑顔で酒を注いできたの何だったんだ.

What makes this enzyme special is its remarkable synergy with another enzyme, CALB, which dramatically accelerates PET degradation. By combining our eng enzyme with CALB, 95.5% of PET was turned into monomers. Interestingly, such synergistic activity was not observed in LCC.

At @bit_Biome, we leveraged our unique microbial genome database, bit-GEM, to discover a new PET-degrading enzyme, bbPET0069, from a soil microbe. Plus, through protein engineering, we enhanced our enzyme's activity by 12.6-fold.
