Mrs. Suess shows her appreciation by cleaning Gustave Adolph Oiseth’s grave. Oiseth was Killed in Action in Grand Pre, France in 1918. He was reburied here in 1921. American Legion Post 333 of Kasson is named in his honor.

The grave of George Augustus Milliken was cleaned up today as well. He was wounded on July 2nd, 1863 and served with the First Minnesota. A creek north of Mantorville is named after his family. George lost his leg in Gettysburg.
