The downside is that I keep starting 20k character fics and then get completely absorbed in them at the most unfortunate of times, like when I'm supposed to sleep

Never have felt more happy that I've learned Japanese than rn because I would be so starved if I was limited to the English TanZen fandom, but there's so many Japanese fics and doujinshi, and there's still active writers/artists too

Writing as a reward and not as a duty actually working?? not always, I've definitely felt the pressure well up again of "oh you should write more" or "you need to finish this" but I think I've been doing a fairly good job at quelling these thoughts quickly

today has been a super high anxiety day and I've been feeling hunted, "I'm out of time!"-y all day, but now that I've sat down to write for an hour, I finally feel it ease up
