So enjoyed getting the clever digs & innuendos. Few hours of great fun. First 2 episodes were a slow burn but it romped home for the remaining 5. Great going!
I’ve been battling a cold & cough and cancelled engagements for two days. My staff and my sister, @smitatharoor, persuaded me to turn my eyes away from the computer part of the time towards a @NetflixIndia series, and it’s one of the best things I have ever treated myself to:

Thank you for flagging this.
At an airport in Kerala today , a toilet attendant told me quietly: “Madam, they don’t even flush after use.” She keeps the toilets clean with grace and dignity, yet so few even say thank you. We’re quick to salute the flag, but slow to respect the floor beneath it. Civic sense

Justly deserved, Kaav. I’ve read all your books & proud to see this. Happy writing and teaching.
Very, very happy to share some exciting personal news. I am truly honoured to serve as the Charles A. Heimbold, Jr. Chair of Irish Studies, in @VillanovaU, a position previously held by some of my literary heroes.

Delighted to speak at #TEDx @jmiu_official on “Beyond the Pause.” In life too, we must pause, reflect, reframe our challenges. Spoke to women abt gratitude, resilience & power of women supporting women. To the men: true allyship begins with genuine platonic friendships.

My sister @SmitaTharoor forwarded this to me with the comment “Funny how things go viral months later. This was probably in June!” (It was, I believe, even a month or two earlier. But always glad to see one’s words & thoughts enjoy a fresh lease of life! )

Yes. Feel proud as @SEAMUSMURPHY3 was involved long distance in connecting the artist Pradip Das to Raeda. Wish I could see it.

My latest #TharoorThink column in the @IndianExpress discusses the Indian cricket team’s refusal to shake hands with the Pakistani players during the ongoing #AsiaCup. If we felt so strongly about Pakistan, we could’ve refused to play them. Once the political decision is made to

Patriarchy isn’t only enforced by men. For women to truly empower ourselves, change has to begin within. As mothers, our choices shape whether our sons grow up to see & practice equality. Thankyou @gauribhatia23 & Rashmi Chouhan for sparking this reflection in @IndianExpress .

A powerful piece by Smt Sonia Gandhi ji today urges India to live up to its moral convictions on Palestine. As a well-wisher of Israel myself, and one who strongly defends its right to live in security & to repel terrorists, I agree with her view that India's ethical and

He also happens to be the first Indian to write a book in English. I have included an excerpt from his book The Travels of Dean Mahomet, in The Book of Bihari Literature. He was a native of Patna, #Bihar. So it was a Bihari who introduced curry and shampoo to UK.

Loved this book. It’s a book about 2 women, their relationship, being mothers at similar times & dealing with all the worries of life. It’s a moving book that is lyrical in its writing. It’s also a deeply spiritual & philosophical book that asks the reader to question so much.
I was very ill with the virus, and I felt I needed to record my life and I reached out to Ragini and proposed that we write a book together. This book became a book about dialogue and life in the company of a friend. @freetobeChi and Ragini Tharoor in conversation with
