Great news for Manitoba small businesses. BC should be next! 📣 ➡️ BC is 1 of only 3 jurisdictions without a WCB surplus rebate policy. With over $2B in excess reserves, returning those funds to employers is the right thing to do as costs keep rising. #bcpoli
Great to be in attendance today as the MB PC Party introduced Bill 228 - to legislate WCB surplus refunds. This would ensure funds are returned fairly to employers when reserves exceed targets. We hope all parties support this bill so SME's get the relief they deserve.

A big day for Canada! When CFIB first brought mutual recognition policies to govs as the way to knock down internal trade barriers they looked at us like we had six heads. Couldn't be done. Now every single one has signed on. That's never giving up, and never going away! #cdnpoli

This is great news for BC businesses! By ensuring that goods approved for sale in one province or territory can be sold in all others, today's announcement will help small businesses grow, reduce costs, and improve consumer choice. #bcpoli

“The Alberta government continues to lead on red tape reduction. Reaching the one-third reduction target was a significant achievement, but it’s great to see the commitment does not stop there. Continued efforts to cut unnecessary rules and streamline processes makes life

⚠️ BC has just released it's "Look West" economic strategy, so what's inside? ✅ Committing to remove internal trade barriers, ✅ Reviewing procurement to include local SMEs, ✅ Promises to reduce permit delays and regulatory duplication. These are all encouraging commitments,
We’re not waiting, we’re leading! Today we launched LookWest, a bold plan to deliver major projects faster, expand skills training and grow key sectors. In the face of tariffs & global economic instability, this means more #BCjobs, stronger communities & a resilient economy 1/2
