In our synthesis of Canadian and US swamp carbon stocks and fluxes (Davidson et al. 2022 ERL) - we noted that we could find very few (if any at all) C data for boreal conifer swamps in western Canada 2/9.

Wetlands, especially peatlands, take up CO2 and store tons of carbon, as well as many other services like flood control, water cleaning, and habitat.

Obviously with extracted samples over long closure times you get fewer points and don't see changes over seconds or minutes, and that's what most of the paper's I've found have used, so I'm not sure what to expect.

canopy but I'm not sure if it actually does (changed conc gradient allows for faster transpiration and less diffusion outwards?). Some of my questions are: how long do you flux, and do you get a linear increase?.

Amazing, thanks for the responses! I'm using a flexible chamber I made with LI-7810 for mult trees in mult swamps. I've figured out sealing and I usually get a + slope for CH4 & CO2 but more often than not they're not linear. Plateaus and dips seem to correspond to wind in the.

Anyone who's used a Licor or similar continuous measure analyzer for tree stem fluxes out there who would be willing to talk over some fluxes with me?.#treethane.
