Late Shift @QFTBelfast was an extraordinary watch. One shift in the life of a nurse, dealing with death, depression, and despicable behaviour. Really moving, even if it was a stressful watch, with the exceptional Leonie Benesch at its heart.

Funny how this 'Our Tiny Island' programme on C4 seems only to have visited when the weather was lovely. Not the rest of the year when it rains sideways and the wind rips your eye lids off. Is TV false?.

Sad to see Ray Brooks has died. Remembered mainly for Cathy Come Home, The Knack and voicing Mr Benn, but I remember him as the voice of the forgotten genius that was King Rollo. May he rest easy.
