And my personal focuses (and non-focuses) for 2025. Should be predictable from things I've done and written, but it's worth re-stating explicitly.
Twin goals of EF: 1. Usage of Ethereum - but usage of a type where users are actually benefiting from Ethereum's underlying properties 2. Resilience and decentralization of Ethereum - viewed holistically, focused on addressing points of weakness anywhere in the stack

We can also simplify the protocol by making sure that sub-protocols are shared as much as possible: there should ideally only be one way we do X, across the consensus, execution and other layers. Potential targets: erasure coding, serialization, trees.
