Noticing an interesting phenomenon in my neighbourhood, the failed listings don't have for sale signs anymore, they have bins in the driveway. Instead of dropping the price they are putting money into the renos to try to get the price they need. This won't end well.

@sm_cmc Sometimes it's just making a legal basement so that buyers can rent it out after. Might be worth it.

@RanjitDha1iwal These properties have finished basements already (I've looked at the listings lol)... although converting from a non conforming to a legal suite would make sense.

@sm_cmc Well on the same note I guess that’s good for contractors which will keep the revenue coming in and therefore be able to go and buy more Real Estate. Clear sign of perpetuating the bullish market 🐂 😂

@sm_cmc Maybe they are not getting the sale price they want, so preparing to rent the main and basement to help with carrying costs and sell if, and when prices go up again?!
