The amazing @TheElsieEscobar is a major positive influence on the podcast medium. Many consider her the public face of @libsyn, the podcast hosting company that Slumberland has relied on since the series began in 2013.

Fun Fact: long before this podcast series began, @ThePriskorn , @JacquieJFloyd and Slumberland's creator worked together on a TV sketch comedy show! And even before that, Jeff was in a band called Intense Silence. Jeff contributed one of their songs to Bed Bug Part 4.

3/ Flash forward to 2022. Pinkwater is STILL one of the greatest novelists, ever. Abby Sher is now an accomplished author and performer. She's a Pinkwater fan for life. So is Slumberland. So, the Slumberland / Abby Sher connection was made! Thanks to Pinkwater.

@abbysher 2/ In the early 80s Pinkwater published the novel "The Snarkout Boys and the Avocado of Death." In the mid-90s, this novel was presented as a stage play in Chicago. Abby Sher played one of the main characters.

1/ Bed Bug Part 3 includes a song by @abbysher , author, performer, lover of fine tantrums. Funny story how Abby's contribution came to be. First you have to know of author Daniel Pinkwater. Hopefully you know he is one of the greatest authors of all time.
