NASA has confirmed that #Voyager2 is still alive after a human error caused its antenna to misalign. The Deep Space Network has been able to pick up the spacecraft's carrier signal, but may not be able to establish full contact until later in the year.

Happy #PancakeDay ! We’ve been looking at some cosmic pancakes: galaxies that appear edge-on when viewed from Earth. These images by Hubble show galaxies as pancake-like structures, rather than face-on spirals. The galaxies are NGC 3717, ESO 373-8, Messier 104 and NGC 5866.
