i genuinely dont know bc i dont have a strong sense of color or contrast/values but I just scribble/hatch in one direction in the same way i do when i color with colored pencils. if u go ham with texture nothing has to be seamless and softly blended. i also do "underpaintings"

1. I don't mind so long as im not your only source of clear heavy inspo! frankenstein that shit 2. depends! my sfw comms in particular fluctuate... i often take em all, unless its ones i really feel i wont be able to fulfill at the time

IM SORRY I HAVE NO IDEA. especially considering im still improving/learning and i dont actively do anything I just draw a lot a lot a lot. Ive been drawing humans for a long time + I don't remember a time where I "got serious" about it like others do
