Candidates start their run 2 years before the election historically. Fundraising, campaign planning, securing endorsmenets. Not officially of course, but in planning is already happening.

Yeah I'm aware of all that and I'm not saying this is a bad question, I just....don't want to think about it so early. I hate how long our campaign cycles are
