I can credit you for the tips/info you share, just let me know in the comments. Eg: Grantley Adams International in Barbados: 💧 Bring a reusable water bottle, there are water fountains. 👶 babies (from newborn) have to take off their shoes at security

✈️ I’m putting together a list of travel tips for airports across the Caribbean. I’m focussing on useful info that you may not find elsewhere online. I’d love your insight on any Caribbean airports - big or small - that you’re familiar with! 🧵

I was always under the impression that Uber wouldn’t work in Barbados because we don’t have any drink driving laws. How are they going to guarantee that the drivers are sober? 🚗

In a country riddled with NCDs, tell me why there aren’t more sugar free options readily available? I haven’t bought peanut butter in two weeks because the only brands available contain sugar + added ingredients. Make it make sense.

Does anyone know of any local companies that make wooden chess boards or dominos? Any kind of locally made board games?

Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a real difference. A pencil case, a uniform, a few grocery items—these are small things that can mean the world to a child and their family. If you’re able, I invite you to stand with us. Thank you for giving, sharing, and caring.

There are children going to bed hungry because there isn’t enough food at home. Here’s how you can help: 1. Donate directly to the Bajans Helping Bajans account at Bridge Supermarket. They pack the food hampers that the BHB volunteers deliver to vulnerable families every month.

Every year, Bajans Helping Bajans runs a back-to-school + food hamper programme to support families in need. This year, the need feels especially heavy. There are families right here in Barbados who cannot send their children to school because they simply don’t have the supplies.

Support a local family with a Voucher at Woolworth or Uniform Factory Outlet. Just let the cashier know you’d like to donate to Bajans Helping Bajans & you’ll help a child get the uniform & supplies they need 🗓️ Drive ends Sep 30th💛 Let’s make sure no child is left behind!

If you’re buying school uniforms from Uniform Factory Outlet, you can support a local family with a voucher to help cover school expenses. UFO has partnered w/ Bajans Helping Bajans for their annual Back-to-School Drive. Every bit helps, & it’s an easy way to make a difference.
