the sequel does the same, Nick is still the rational one so he's going to be the first to call her out this makes sense now after the first movie Judy has higher expectations, she will develop a hero complex especially with society still not respecting her gets her insecure

they did handle Gary's character in a way where *why* he's here and not *how* so his personal life outside his lineage is left ambiguous whether this was on purpose to keep him mysterious wouldn't know lol
Id make it longer so we’d have more time to spend with some of the characters like Gary and the Lynxley twins! I wish could’ve spent more time with the reptiles + Reptile Ravine too.

Nick after having one single emotionally mature conversation (he's 32):
One of my favourite parts of Zootopia is after Nick/Judy’s confession, there is an immediate and HUGE difference in Nick’s personality. He is so full of positivity and joy after pouring his heart out to her.
