Pupil: I would have had 4 other siblings if not for mom's miscarriages. I'm the only one left. I am very thankful to God that I am here.I want to give God my best.
Tonight, we had an online university mass for former president Benigno 'Pinoy' Aquino III. A couple of trolls dropped in to spice up our page. Here are some notes they left: 'Heswita bayaran," "Dilawan," "Pati ba naman sa misa ..."

A Grade 1 student, staying alone with his 41 year old dad had no inkling that the father has been dead in their house over the weekend. Prayers for the family.

He would have been 99 years in June. An Ilokano who grew up in Shanghai and entered the Jesuits via the California Province, Father Joe was a long-time missionary in Mindanao. We will miss stories of your life adventures, Father Joe. Rest in peace!
