I was lucky to explore the old Prison Farm and work on the South River Forest vision with @sixpitch in 2018. The cop city plan was always in the background—a secret, competing vision that nobody asked for. Let us always have the audacity to demand better plans for our home.

Ridiculous and irresponsible, especially coming from a city planner. Truly astonishing. Not following through - urgently - with transit on the Beltline will accelerate gentrification. We can just all go ahead and move away.
Should we scrap the rail plan for the Atlanta BeltLine and spend the money on housing instead? Former city planning chief Mike Dobbins thinks so. This flies in the face of the longstanding vision for linking neighborhoods equitably with transit. https://t.co/iYILPe1TMZ
