"do you think some people deserve to suffer?" she asks, looking back up at him. part of her meant her ex boyfriend, the person that did this all to her, gave her the powers that she never really liked, and part of her meant herself.

despite being rather powerful compared to her teammates, telekinesis and magical powers and all, anna didn't see herself as strong, or brave. she saw herself as the scared stray cat that hissed whenever anyone came near. "I'm not strong enough to do that."

"some of us suffer and don't get their revenge let's say." she shrugs, although there's clearly more to the story. something that's been eating her whole for years. no matter how many times she goes to therapy, or goes on meds.

she takes a longer sip, getting comfortable in her chair. she looks him up and down, chewing on her bottom lip before answering. "I just have a hard time trusting men." she replies. "especially considering I know what you did to bucky."
