A guy in our town does not believe me that the reason a Grocery chain won't build in our >5000-person town is because they only make 1%-3%, so they won't make money. Call BS all you want buddy- the numbers are what they are. Challenged him to start one then since he "knows".

I make sure to tell people this exact thing when they have other people, photographers, take pictures of their kids. Folks- you do not own the IP rights, therefore zero control, to your own children's pictures. Be aware.
We’re paying you to take photos of our building, but we don’t own the photos??. Good thing to look for if you need property photos taken. H/t @mrkorangy 🙏

Victor announced that they found and caught the guy in New Mexico. Turns out the guy was serial rapist with dozens of women coming forward as the manhunt went on. Now behind bars. We need more of this. .

Been seeing DFW folks posting high HVAC quotes lately >=20k. Told the Mrs. "Lets take good care so ours doesn't go out.". 😡 - Compressor shorts. R22 5 ton system. Prepped her for 20k, hoping not more. Called a highly praised local guy 👉10k and he can install Tuesday. Score!.

When Cow and Chicken introduced Captain Butts Pirate in 1997/98, locking Cartoon network down was simple. Now even a simple advert is worse than that. One of many reason there are zero screens allowed during the week so we can monitor.

I have never trusted "ratings" for kids. What media companies deem "suitable" for certain ages, I do not agree with. Monitoring Cartoon network and Niceklodeon when kid 1.0 was growing up was 100 times easier that it is trying to control content now with 2.0/3.0 . Devil box. .

Question my wife got from our DIL. "Should I worry that my boss has stopped giving me paychecks with a pay stub and has started just Zelling me the money?". Mrs: She cut schedule in half, pay has gotten sporadic, now this. Yes find a new job fast.

35 yrs ago last Saturday, University of Florida. It was another stark reminder of the evil in the world. The phone rang, and I had to tell my sister about one of her friends we had just seen that week. One of the first 2, we soon learned it was someone on a killing spree.

With my guys, we knew whose gun failed and knew right away too toss ours to the other guy. He usally had 2 come at him, one from the guy beside him and one from the other side of the car. Then a 3rd behind the wall ready to toss the backup. We never had to leave our post.

How on earth was no one standing there ready to toss the backup wheel gun to the RF guy on that Foyt pitstop. Why did he have to leave hit post to get it. How did the LF guy not hear his buddy's failure and toss his wheelgun across to him?. So. Many. Failures in that 10 seconds.
