Something I would love to see in the Sims 4 is a system to define different areas on a lot, which could be used to create small apartment complex, townhouses, or lots with multiple lot type.

One of my main concerns with the game is that all sims seem to behave in the same way. It's hard for me to get attached to them right now.

Two simple items I hope to see in a future pack:
-Plain slim/skinny jeans for the guys, with nice textures and swatches. Not cropped, normal length, not torn, with no holes.
-Simple counters with wooden countertop. The industrial one we have doesn't look good in most situations.

I spend so much time working on my sims, to make them look unique, but in the end, they all react the same way. Traits have almost no influence, they current emotion do but can be changed so easily.
I wish something could be done to give them more personality, more depth.

The screenshot of the new lot type on the official website reminds me a little of this concept!
I hope that now that the base system is here, it can be used in the future to create multi-purpose lots.

About recolored objects and textures, and reused animations, it would be nice to stop calling it laziness. Because it's not. Instead, complain that the budget allocated to the team working on the game is not sufficient, because most often it's a question of cost.

For the next EP, I would love a colder world, as we already have some tropical/desert ones. I loved Aurora Skies in the Sims 3, with its Icelandic inspiration (with frequent snow, pine trees, auroras, and volcanoes).
I would love to have a world like this on in the Sims 4 !

A bit disappointed with the box art, I feel there's less variety in terms of age, personality, body shape... Only good-looking and happy young adults, mostly women. I guess it makes more sense with the main focus of the game and EPs, and what most people do in game, but still. 😐

I wish Hobbies from the Sims 2 could come back, and (among other things) influence our sims autonomous actions.
Same with Interests : they would change over time depending of our sims' actions, and make conversation with others easier or harder.

- Recolorable ceilings
- Spiral stair and ladders
- Split-level/platform tool, to easily create elevated areas without changing floors
- Objects specific to the Off-the-Gird gameplay (pump, washing basin, simple closet for food)

I would love to see is an interaction to leave a door open, or open windows. It feels weird to see everything always closed, especially when it's warm and sunny outside (maybe that's the reason why I love JA and Island Living build content so much!)

Most of the time, your sims actions and reactions are not based on their personality, but rather on their current emotion. Also the effects of the personality traits are too often only related to the emotion system. [2/8]

Time for a thread about the Off the Grid trait! For now, with no eco-friendly alternative for objects we can't use without limitations and bad moodlets, it gives a negative vision of this way of living. I hope it can be improved!

I'm really afraid that nothing will be done to improve the curved walls/platforms, they didn't add any new window compatible with the feature since it was released and I didn't think they used curved wall in San Sequoia. As if they had already moved on.

Seeing new ways to interact with beds reminded me of this. The "relax" interaction was added a while ago, but sims can't do anything while lying on their beds. They can't read, they can't even talk to each other, they can't cuddle.
Is this going to be improved?

Looks like we'll be mostly getting joggers and cargo pants with the next pack. But something I really miss is some basic, non-cropped slim jeans for guys, without holes, belt, or seams everywhere. The kind of jeans lots of people wear.

Also, because of the art style, the facial expressions of our sims are really exaggerated when they are sad, angry... Again, it makes them look more similar... and less unique.

I think we already have enough objects/interactions for partying in game, I would have preferred another kind of content in University. Like bunk beds, a sketchbook (instead of the easel we saw in the trailer), vending machines, or other items we never had in the previous games.

Quick review of Realm of Magic : it looks good, but as often, it's a bit disappointing in term of gameplay. There is a great variety of spells and potions, but the learning process is way too repetitive and easy. Also, I feel I would have enjoyed this GP more one year ago.. [1/2]

I liked the closed neighborhoods of the Sims 4 at first, as they seamed more alive than the open worlds. But now... I wish we were able to customize everything, instead of always having the same scenery.
