Running complete desktop environments within #Xwayland became possible thx to some patches from @ofourdan merged to master yesterday: https://t.co/w6vgvACVzY Looks like this will allow #Linux distros to drop the #Xorg server, but still ship X11-only desktops (Xfce, Mate, …).
