Today’s @westaustralian covers a survey saying young women do not like @ScottMorrisonMP. @AlboMP made ref to it in his speech this morning. Someone near me chimed in: ‘So we’re clear - older women don’t like him either!’

We know that when it comes to youth justice, early intervention is critical. We welcome investment in measures that will support children to remain safely at home, as well as expanding programs like Target 120 that divert young people away from the justice system #WAPol #AusPol

My mum had zero career opportunities and limited life choices. I've had many more, and I know my girls have even more opportunities and career paths. To all those that have made it easier for women to pursue their dreams I say thank you. #IWD2022

The High Street project is officially complete! Today I joined the Premier, @simonemcgurk and Lisa O’Malley to officially open the upgrades. More than 37,000 drivers use the road daily and the project will improve safety and reduce congestion.

I have no idea why people think @australian and other east-coast media don’t get WA. It’s just a bit further over than SA, right?

WACOSS would like to acknowledge all the hard work and investment that @simonemcgurk has done on homelessness in her time as Minister. It makes sense that this issue should sit with housing, so looking forward to working with John Carey in the new year! #WAPol #reshuffle

The crowd listening to @simonemcgurk today at the 31st Annual Silent Domestic Violence Memorial March. The statistics were shocking, 8 people have died in the last 12 months, the youngest was 4. #ForrestPlace #Perth #WesternAustralia

For the record, #Freo @walabor did not get a swing against them in 2021. #Pearce hopeful Miquela Riley - politically illiterate or lying? Not off to a good start here @LiberalsWA. @AnnabelHennessy #auspol

We are so used to talking about issues like gender equality, racism, sexual discrimination and domestic violence individually we forget they do not exist in silos #16daysinWA https://t.co/BLV7FUHlbW via ⁦@westaustralian

Fists to the face, sexual assault and verbal and emotional tirades are common aspects of family and domestic violence. It can also be so pervasive that it also affects people’s bank accounts, too.

My contribution to the @abcperth’s #brekkybookbank is If I Ran the Circus by Dr Seuss. 🤸‍♀️ Growing up one of 5 siblings, the Circus McGurkus was definitely raucous at times, we always had books to read. I’s really happy to contribute to this great effort. 📚 🎪
