Morning coffee in the quiet stillness of a #Yanomami village was unforgettable. Those peaceful moments grounded me before each day of fieldwork. I feel incredibly fortunate to have been part of this journey, learning from and working with such a remarkable people.
Morning strolls through a #Yanomami village, coffee in hand, set the tone for a day of fieldwork, travel, and deep conversations. These peaceful moments remind us of the importance of our mission and the amazing communities we work with.

Had an amazing time at the 4th meeting of the GHMRC. Big gaps in breastfeeding knowledge, esp for small vulnerable newborns, but we're tackling them. Grateful for brilliant minds leading this effort and for the generous support of the FLRF, making this important work possible!

I was reading this new review about human milk oligosaccharide (HMO) utilization strategies by various gut bacteria (including bifidobacteria) and noticed some errors on which I want to comment, mainly because they persist in the literature (1/7) https://t.co/7XlE9UW8Ch

Thank you @bykriscampbell for the thought provoking seminar on science communication! #ISAPA2023
Hanging out with this excellent group of scientists today at #ISAPP2023 & talking about the changing landscape of science communication: What is an antiscientific viewpoint? Should scientists try to engage? Thanks @bdaisley & @daraghhill for the invite!

One of my favorite talks today! #ISAPP2023
Excited to have Sean Gibbons up next at #ISAPP2023 arguing for smaller cohorts, more data, & deeper insights in clinical trials. There's no 'average' human being so his group tries to understand whether an intervention has uniform vs. more variable effects across a population.
