The official timing website has finally updated, so we guess that's confirmed: Matthew Richardson 🇬🇧 is the first man to go under 9 seconds for the flying 200 metres! He records a time of 8.941 in Konya today, beating Lavreysen's previous record of 9.088.

Q for Cloudflare users: I proxy a site through CF for caching, DNS, etc. CF's Web Analytics page gives a 'visits' number that is ~10% of the 'unique visitors' number on the HTTP Traffic page for the same period. Is that difference normal? What causes it?

I ChatGPTed a WordPress block into existence today, one I've wanted for literally years: it shows an excerpt if one has been manually entered, using core markup; nothing if not. Took a few iterations, but 5 mins in total, whilst I waited for the next bike race. This stuff works.
