.@British_Airways to leave @riga_airport by ending flights from London @HeathrowAirport to Riga at the end of March 2026. The route lasted for 2,5 years. @Fly_Norwegian will not continue the Riga-@Gatwick_Airport route. airBaltic and Ryanair stay in the Riga-London market.

.@wizzair will add one more route to @TLLairport: flights from Budapest will start on 11th of December, 3 weekly. Wizz Air currently operates one route to TLL, but has announced an additional five routes. Wizz Air started flights from Budapest to Vilnius earlier this year.

Starting next week, @wizzair will upgrade the frequency on the Vilnius to Budapest route, adding Sunday flights. Two capitals will be connected 4 times a week, both winter and summer. More than 20,000 passengers have already flown this new route with load factors above 90%.

I see this as a good complement for connectivity, working in combination with flights to Warsaw, Krakow, and Gdansk. The train frequency upgrade will happen mid-December, with schedules announced in November.

LTG Link announced that trains from Vilnius/Kaunas will increase to 3 trips per day to Warsaw, up from the current one trip. The trains with a change on the border will continue to Krakow, Szczecin and Poznan. The train ride will be ~7 hours between Vilnius and Warsaw.

The Canaries season starts today with this charter flight from Vilnius to Tenerife. >120 charter and regular rotations are scheduled this winter. @airBaltic will fly 2-3x weekly regular flights from Vilnius to Tenerife starting OCT28 and 1x weekly to Las Palmas starting NOV1.

Ryanair updated its winter schedule for Vilnius by adding capacity on some routes: - Malta growing from 3x to 4x weekly; - Vienna from 4x to 5x weekly; - Dublin from 2x to 3x weekly. Ryanair has 14% more departures per week scheduled from Vilnius compared to last winter.

Ryanair finished its Baltic tour with press conferences in Tallinn and Vilnius yesterday and Riga today. The message is the same everywhere: airport taxes are too high, we are perfect, and we cannot grow. Based on my observations, most airports in the Baltics haven't changed

.@wizzair further expanding in @TLLairport adding flights to Gdansk starting 1st of May, 2026. It's surprising to see such a high frequency on this route, with 5 times weekly service, resulting in more than 10,000 monthly seats offered.

I spent this summer holiday in Gdansk. I should have waited for next summer, when there will be a possibility to fly instead of driving. New @wizzair route from Gdańsk to Vilnius, 4 times per week, starting May 3, 2026. This is 23rd non-stop Wizz Air route from @LTairports

ISRAIR has announced its Tel Aviv to Vilnius schedules for Summer 2026. Flights are scheduled to start at the end of March, initially operating twice a week, and will increase to three times a week from 19 May. ISRAIR is a new airline for @LTairports in 2025.
