I can vouch for this, travelling once across the Mojave dessert I came across a lost town where one of the residents had a City shirt on with Gleghorn on the back of it and a dedicated bar on the Main Street where occupants could ring a bell and pretend to be “Helen the bell”…😉.
Whenever you go abroad these days you just see Manchester City shirts everywhere. You say you’re from Manchester and they instantly say “Manchester City.” 🫶🏼. The haters won’t admit it but our influence is worldwide, we’re massive!

Glastonbury 2025, here’s my take on it… line ups could have been better but it’s about variety and choice, you choose to listen / watch. Lots unhappy at some of the content as it’s doesn’t appeal to their “opinion”, me I can take it or leave it regardless and not lose sleep. 👍.

Watching todays line up at Glastonbury feels like they’ve bussed in the occupants from Piccadilly gardens and handed them a microphone, Dog Dribble by Getdown Services has been the best song so far today and as for Future Islands, someone has definitely tampered with their meds🤪.

A lot of fuss on here over Kneecap at Glastonbury and the BBC censorship of their performance, on the few bits I’ve seen I thought they were a bit shit and the BBC did us a bit of a favour but what do I know I’m 56 and enjoyed John Fogerty and Creedance Clearwater revival more 😎.

1975…. Not the headline act Glastonbury deserved, pretty underwhelming really. Not terrible but not great either. Thought CMAT earlier on were “batshit” mental but pretty good as I hadn’t come across them before. Overall a slow burner start to this year.

Definitely not a petrol head, however went to see F1 tonight, brilliant film and some spectacular car sequences and a Led Zeppelin opening track seriously helped. 👍
